One of the most basic tenets of composition is the Rule of Thirds. Although most people are familiar with this technique it is often forgotten in the haste to take a photo. However you ignore it at your peril as it can make an average snap into something which is has tension and dynamism.

In this meetup we will practice using the Rule of Thirds in a setting full of photographic possibility.

It was a wonderful experience meeting great people and learning from them and acquiring skills from experts. I will greatly put what I learned into good use. Ben has helped me a lot, particularly with camera settings. Through his patience and his careful explaining, my camera skills improved a lot. He patiently listened and then explained the topics over and over again, and he made sure I understood it (aperture, shutter speed, ISO). It was my third class with Ben, he is indeed a great teacher and a great photographer too!
